'Twilight Yearning'
Entitled, "Twilight Yearing", this figure serves
as an excellent focus for spells involving fertility, sexuality and
general proseperity, or simply as an interesting and unique art piece.
According to lore from the Feri tradition of Witchcraft, the Gray
Dove symbolizes the Goddess. She represents peace, female sexuality,
and freedom. In this aspect She is also the patroness of all-male
covens, and in this capacity an image of Her is placed upon the altar.
The 'Sacred Dove' is a term that represents the God(dess) within each
of us, and reflects the clitorophalic presence of God Herself.
These figures serve as excellent focal-points for spells involving
fertility, sexuality and general proseperity, or simply as interesting
and unique art pieces. Molded
from natural gypsum, and measuring roughly 4.5" long by 2"
wide by 3" tall, each is hand-painted and
layered with a smooth, matte finish, providing a sensual feel when
caressed. It comes with a certificate signed by artist Chas Bogan,
which includes a ritual exercise titled 'Feeding the Dove'
by Pagan author and artist Storm Faerywolf.
