'Prelude to a Profane Kiss'

Devilishly sexy, this sculpture exhibits the union of an idealized masculine physique with man's more latent animalistic character. What arises from the erogenous crest of his rump is primal lust in the form of a barbed tail.

This ancient symbolism has been renewed at the hands of artist Chas Bogan, who includes a signed and numbered certificate with each of his personally crafted sculptures. A groove in the back allows it hang upon a wall, or it may otherwise sit in a plateholder or easel. Formed from dense plaster, it measures approximately nine inches in height by five and a half in width.

Folklore tells of the Devil having visited witch covens, where those whom he had taught the arts of magick would repay him by blessing his ass with their lips, a profane kiss.
