Featuring the characters created by Lewis Carroll, our 'Wonderland Collection' includes handmade dolls whose open backs and hollow arme allow them also to serve as animated puppets.

Additional characters are always being added, so chack back later.

'Alice'

Alice reaches 16 inches from her head down to the toes of her fashionable, Victorian boots. When sitting with her legs forward, she reaches about a foot tall, fitting into most shelves and holding her own among serious doll collections. Her arms, easily fitted for the thumb and forefinger of adults or older children, open to about 14 inches wide.

The back of her is open beneath her neck, allowing you to manipulate her arms as a puppet. Yet she is stuffed generously, so that she is most huggable, and will not wilt when you sit her down for a rest.

Her detailed features are printed on cloth, and have an almost three dimensional depth. Alice's face evokes various moods, as with all fine puppets, depending on her pose, appearing shocked when leaning slightly backwards, or irritated when bowed forward. Turned slightly to the puppeteers left, her reaction appears vacant, whereas another slight turn to the right allows her a subtly determined sensibility.

She is scotch-guarded against stains, but should the unforseen happen, handwashing and linedrying are advised.

The pocket in her apron holds a two dimensional bottle, laminated and removable, which reads 'Drink Me.'
