'Midnight Arousal'
This Winged
Phallus sculpture is inspired by an ancient symbol dating
back to the earliest days of human pre-history. The Latin term
for phallus is fascinum, which is derived from fascinare,
meaning to cast a spell. In ancient Rome, figures
of winged penises were believed to grant protection from the evil
eye. Cultures around the world have worshipped the phallus as
an icon, honoring it to promote virility, fertility, and general
prosperity.
Titled "Avalon-Aroused",
it is hand-painted, standing approximately 5" tall, has a wingspan
of about 6", and is nearly 5" deep. A light matte finish
completes this art piece.
A perfect
altar piece. It comes with a certificate signed by artist Chas
Bogan, which includes a ritual exercise titled 'Praising
the Staff of God' by Pagan writer and artist Storm Faerywolf.
